The Berg-Hughes Center for Petroleum and Sedimentary Systems integrates geosciences, engineering and other disciplines to collaborate with industry and others to advance research and education in petroleum studies.

The Crisman Institute for Petroleum Research, Harold Vance Department of Petroleum Engineering, College of Engineering and the Berg-Hughes Center for Petroleum and Sedimentary Systems, Department of Geology & Geophysics, College of Geosciences have initiated a Joint Industry Project “Comprehensive and Integrated Research to Develop Predictive Models for Shale Oil and Gas Reservoirs in Texas.”
